Oracle
TranTech was founded on Oracle services by TiTi McNeill,
herself an Oracle consultant. Using Oracle databases,
applications and tools TranTech has:
- Reengineered the Defense Security Service’s
Case Management Information System, migrated 4 million
records from the legacy mainframe system and web-enabled
the resulting application;
- As the technical and functional architect for
Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Corporate
Data Warehouse, TranTech designed, prototyped and
built the application that provides analytical access
to the entirety of DoD’s financial data, consolidating
more than 51 feeder systems; and
- Reengineered and built the Secretariat Automated
Resource Management Information System (SARMIS II)
for the Under Secretary of the Navy, migrating the
system from the legacy VAX, implementing workflow,
and web-enabling the Navy’s central budget
planning application;
- Provides Oracle application support for the 140,000
users of the Treasury Communications System (TCS).
We currently provide a broad range of Oracle services:
- TranTech has support GSA’s implementation
of Oracle Financials Human Resources Module, Oracle
HR, since 1998. We modified the Oracle HR COTS product
that met approximately 80% of GSA’s requirements
to create a GOTS product—Comprehensive
Human Resources Information System (CHRIS). TranTech
is now supporting both the expansion of CHRIS services
within GSA and to other Federal civilian agencies,
and the use of CHRIS by GSA and other government
employees;
- We support Oracle HR implementation at the Peace
Corps and, under GSA’s aegis, the use of CHRIS
at the National Archives and Records Administration
(NARA), the National Credit Union Administration
(NCUA), GSA’s Agency Liaison Division, the
Office of Personnel Management (OPM), and other agencies;
- We provide Oracle development services for the
Army Civilian Personnel System and the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration; and
- We provide Oracle database and systems administration
to the Army Logistics Transformation Agency, the
Defense Enterprise Computing Centers in Mechanicsburg
PA and Dayton OH, for the Naval Air Systems Command
and the Voice of America.
Our Oracle architects and subject matter experts are
highly skilled in all Oracle applications and tools.
In addition, our
DAM products
use Oracle to manage the full range of rich media content,
including still images, video, audio, graphics, and textual
documents.
