TranTech 18th Anniversary Proves 18 Is a Lucky Number

Company Founded by Vietnamese-Born McNeill Celebrates Continued Success

ALEXANDRIA, Va.–November 27, 2007–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TranTech, Inc. (www.trantech-inc.com), the IT Solutions and Services provider is about to reach a major company milestone as they celebrate their 18th anniversary. TiTi McNeill founded TranTech in 1989 to turn her expertise in business software into a business of her own. Now, 18 years later, the Vietnamese-born entrepreneur heads a $30+ million dollar company providing high-end information technology consulting services to government and commercial clients.

Why would a company celebrate an 18th anniversary as opposed to a 20th anniversary? Because one plus eight (1 + 8) equals 9. The number 9 is considered lucky in Vietnam, where I was born, and elsewhere in Asia, says TiTi. Actually, TiTi is not superstitious. TranTechs growth has everything to do with her personal philosophy of hard work, perseverance, integrity, and a positive attitude and with finding associates who share those traits.

Over the past year, TranTech has had great success as a company. In early 2007, the company announced the complete line of their MediaSolv software products and solutions under MediaSolv Corporation, a TranTech Company. The MediaSolv product family delivers the power and flexibility of integrated Digital Evidence Management (iDEM) to law enforcement agencies that have the need to capture, store, and provide secure access to digital evidence assets using a standard Web browser. The most common application today for iDEM is for Video Interviews.

TranTech, Inc as the thought of leader in the industry has presented to state legislative bodies in the states of Maryland and California on the benefits of integrated digital evidence management, particularly focused on the video interview solutions.

TranTech continued to demonstrate its industry leadership in July, when the company announced that the Toronto Police Department had selected it to lead the integration and implementation of its ground breaking Digital Video Asset Management System (DVAMS) based on the MediaSolv iDEM software platform. This was TranTechs first opportunity to reach the Canadian market. Other notable TranTech MediaSolv clients include the metropolitan police services of Chicago, Washington, DC and Salinas, California.

In July 2007, MediaSolv was named the winner of the prestigious International Stevie Award for best new product, computer software, beating out hundreds of applicants and finalists from India, Sweden, Canada and the US.

To celebrate her success, TiTi is on cloud nine and is ready to pull out all the stops for TranTechs holiday party for her employees and their spouses, along with her business partners and clients. Terry Fator, The great ventriloquist, impressionist and singer, and the winner of the reality NBC TV show Americas Got Talent, will perform at the event. Its a wonderful way to salute the first 18 years, TiTi says, and a great way to spring forward to the next 18 years and beyond!
