DISA selects nine companies for $2 billion Encore contract

The Defense Information Systems Agency announced March 13 that it has selected nine awardees for its seven-year, $2 billion Encore contract, the successor to Defense Enterprise Integration Services II.

Under the terms of the contract, the contractors will provide global technical integrated solutions that support the integration efforts of the Defense Department, other federal agencies and state and local governments.

Among the services the contractors will provide are contract and task order management, integration program development and management, benchmarking and baselining support, business process reengineering and functional process improvement, integration strategies, and application development.

The companies awarded prime contracts include:

  • Analytical Services Inc., Huntsville, Ala.
  • Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif.
  • Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas
  • Lockheed Martin Corp., Bethesda, Md.
  • Northrop Grumman Information Technology Systems, Los Angeles
  • Pragmatics Inc., McLean, Va.
  • TranTech Inc., Alexandria, Va.
  • TRW Inc., Cleveland
  • Unisys Corp., Blue Bell, Pa.
