TranTech provides essential technical and program support services to the NHTSA Office of Safety Assurance (NSA). TranTech provides full life cycle software support, including planning, development, implementation, training, user support and help desk services. We provide full life cycle systems support, including system management, operation, configuration management, troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance, resource management, user support, upgrades, performance monitoring and enhancement, data and physical security, and backups. We provide full life cycle network support, including LAN administration and technical support for Novell, Windows NT, and UNIX, network performance monitoring, hardware installation; security management; and troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolution. We document all software, hardware, systems, and networks. We also perform needs assessments, capacity planning, software/hardware, and communications product research for integration of new capabilities. TranTech also provides program support including exercising computer models and mathematical analysis software and conducting statistical analyses of test and accidental data. We develop and refine mathematical analysis techniques and applications to test data and provide the engineering basis for software, developing or acquiring software to address significant engineering research problems.
