Company History
TiTi McNeill— who came from Vietnam in 1975—founded TranTech Inc. in December 1989. Working as an independent software consultant specializing in Oracle software applications for large businesses at the time, TiTi's vision for her new company (the name combines her maiden name "Tran" and "Tech") was to provide high-end IT consulting services in areas ranging from Oracle database design and development to local and wide area network management. In July of 1994, TranTech having grown to a staff of six full-time employees, TiTi took that next big entrepreneur risk—she quit her highly paid consulting job to run her company full-time.
TiTi built TranTech on the "Delivering Excellence" model of providing indefatigable service to clients. TranTech takes special pride in the highly qualified technical management capabilities, responsiveness to client needs, integrity, impeccable ethics, and sensitivity to the dynamic needs of clients. TranTech responds quickly to difficult requirements and assignments, and in solving them maintains solid, professional relationships with clients and personnel, whether working as a prime or subcontractor. The company demands of its management team the highest standards of management, administrative, and technical performance.
The quality of TranTech’s has resulted in our recent Dun & Bradstreet performance assessment of 94 out of 100 (outstanding), with no negative comments. TranTech has received numerous awards, among them: Washington Technology Fast 50; Deloitte & Touche's National Technology’s Fast 500; Virginia Technology’s Fast 50; Inc. 500; Division2000 Fast 100; Top Women-Owned Contractor of the Year; Top Minority-Owned Federal Contractor of the Year award, 2001; Fairfax County (Virginia) Chamber of Commerce IT Solutions Executive of the Year finalist; and a 2003 Department of Transportation Minority Contractor of the Year award. TiTi received the Women in Technology Leadership award in May 2001 and the 2001 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year in June 2001.

TranTech works with a wide variety of network (firewalls, routers, design, maintenance, VPN, VoIP) and database technologies, such as Oracle, Domino, and XML. We provide advanced support to our clients in enterprise modeling and reference architectures, enterprise life cycle requirements management, identity and access provisioning management, and other high-end analytical and advisory consultation services. TranTech has also developed several products and solutions, including various Oracle solutions, Digital Asset Management solutions, solutions for law enforcement and utility computing (blade servers).
